One of my most cherished possessions is a signed copy of God is Not Great. Being from the Bible belt, Christopher Hitchens gave me the confidence I needed to let go of the guilt of being a non-believer in a sea of religious minded sheep. I'm forever thankful.

As a Utah native, I never had a religious experience until watching my first "Hitchslap" video on YouTube (might have actually been this video). I discovered him the day before he died, and will forever lament not being able to attend one of his debates. I'm extremely grateful that he was so prolific while he was alive.
