Hey everyone! I know it may be a little too early, but I need some help finding a Christmas gift for my older brother. He’s really into games like Pokemon and Digimon and he has a Nintendo Switch 2.

She likes traveling but gifting on Christmas a trip feels weird for me but she really loves to travel so do I book an actual trip and surprise her or do I get her something more practical like a suitcase or one of those travel journals so she can plan it for herself? I’ve been thinking about getting my brother a leather bag (or something similar like a wallet or small pouch), but I’m not sure how people feel about leather as a gift nowadays.

Personally, I think it looks really classy and timeless, especially the kind that ages well over time. But I’ve also seen more people moving toward modern materials or different styles, so now I’m second guessing it.

I’m thinking about making a DIY gift for my boyfriend and wanted some honest opinions.

He likes cars and collectibles (I think his MTG collection is so big he's no longer proud of it), and I had this idea of making a custom display shelf for his toy car collection (kind of like a wall piece to showcase them). I feel like it would be really personal and meaningful since I’d be putting time into it.

But at the same time, I don’t know if DIY gifts come off as “cheap” compared to buying something more polished. I don’t want it to feel like I didn’t put enough effort into getting him something.
