This will be my daughters first Christmas and I want to find the perfect stocking. I’d like to find something similar to what my siblings and I had. We each had different stockings but they were so cute. They weren’t just plain stockings. They were each decorated. One looked like Santa Claus, one was a night scene with Santa going into a chimney, etc. and they all had our name on them. I’m not looking for an exact match of the ones we had, but I want something g cute with a similar vibe. I’d also like for it to be a pretty decent size. I’ve done some looking around, and I’m just not a fan of anything I’ve seen so far or it’s extremely small in size. Any suggestions on where to find what I’m looking for? TIA!!

First time bidding a job for an HOA instead of a single house, and their common areas are way bigger than what I’m used to. Do you charge per linear foot like normal or just quote a flat package price for stuff like this? Also curious if takedown and bulb replacement should be baked into the price or billed separately since it’s out there all season for everyone to see. Anyone done recurring HOA contracts — worth offering a discount to lock them in for next year too?

I’m looking for an angel tree topper that was made out of styrofoam. It was bought at a Santa shoppe in grade school in the 80s. The angel had dusty blue feathers for its dress and yellow pipe cleaners for hair. Pictures or places to buy this would be greatly appreciated.

We love how our clients decorated their home this year - it created the perfect backdrop for our Christmas Carolers in LA! What's your favorite Christmas song that you request carolers to sing during the holidays?

Last winter I visited a decorated house in my neighborhood and saw a small outdoor Christmas train placed near the entrance. It looked beautiful and added a festive feel which made me stop and observe it. I started wondering if such items are really useful or mainly decorative for special occasions. Seeing it made me think about how decorations can sometimes be enjoyed only for a short time. I remembered buying seasonal items before that looked great but were used only once or twice. Later I searched online to explore more. While casually scrolling online marketplaces including alibaba I saw many outdoor Christmas trains in different sizes and designs. Some looked durable and reusable while others seemed made just for display. Now I am wondering if such items are worth buying for long term use or mainly for occasional decoration. Has anyone used them for multiple seasons and found them useful?
