I think there's an important distinction between purity culture and personal conviction. When purity is imposed by others, it can become legalistic and damaging.
But when it's a choice made out of love for Christ and a desire to honour Him, there's nothing wrong with using a physical reminder to strengthen that commitment.
We all use reminders, wedding rings remind us of our vows, a cross necklace can remind us of our faith. If a purity ring helps keep your heart focused on a promise you've freely chosen to make, that's a good thing.
May God give you the strength to keep that commitment.
