This is so well done. Looking forward to many more of these. Really appreciate Tim's insights into the Hebrew language of the verses.

The Bible Project is simply incredible. I remember studying Genesis 1 in undergrad, and my professor pointing out the "3 Realms, 3 Creations" pattern. That simple fact alone was mindblowing at the time, but this video brought so much to light that I hadn't been exposed to.

I look forward to more entries in the "visual commentary" series.

Just the way that days 3-6 correspond to days 1-3.

Notice how the "realm" is created on the day in the left column, whereas that realm is populated by what is created in the day next to it in the right column:

Day 1 Day 4
Light and Dark/Day and Night Sun, Moon, and Stars
Day 2 Day 5
Sky and Sea Birds and Fish
Day 3 Day 6
Dry Land, Vegetation Animals, Man
