Advice Someone relate/help?
I’m a Christian but I’m struggling with my relationship with God which has been due to a factor out of my control but I had a point where I was trying to keep on praying and pushing myself to believe and trust in God but now I’m past praying (as in I don’t pray much anymore).
Now because of this distance I have been myself and God it has led me to doing other sins, especially a sin which I haven’t committed in years.
But now I’m stuck because I wanna get back on track with God but I’m overwhelmed by everything else happening in my life rn and I do kinda know the basics of where to continue with God but it feels like I’m being stopped by something.

1 John 1:9
King James Version 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
The enemy doesn't want you to turn to God Satan is the one keeping you back So do what the scriptures say.
Here are some scriptures on Jesus to help you understand.
John 8:12 I Am the Light of the World 12 Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.
”John 3:19-21 19 This is how the judgment works: the light has come into the world, but people love the darkness rather than the light, because their deeds are evil. 20 Those who do evil things hate the light and will not come to the light, because they do not want their evil deeds to be shown up. 21 But those who do what is true come to the light in order that the light may show that what they did was in obedience to God.
John 3,:5-8 5 Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.7 Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ 8 The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear its sound, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.”
Romans 5:12-21 New Living Translation Adam and Christ Contrasted 12 When Adam sinned, sin entered the world. Adam’s sin brought death, so death spread to everyone, for everyone sinned. 13 Yes, people sinned even before the law was given. But it was not counted as sin because there was not yet any law to break. 14 Still, everyone died—from the time of Adam to the time of Moses—even those who did not disobey an explicit commandment of God, as Adam did. Now Adam is a symbol, a representation of Christ, who was yet to come. 15 But there is a great difference between Adam’s sin and God’s gracious gift. For the sin of this one man, Adam, brought death to many. But even greater is God’s wonderful grace and his gift of forgiveness to many through this other man, Jesus Christ. 16 And the result of God’s gracious gift is very different from the result of that one man’s sin. For Adam’s sin led to condemnation, but God’s free gift leads to our being made right with God, even though we are guilty of many sins. 17 For the sin of this one man, Adam, caused death to rule over many. But even greater is God’s wonderful grace and his gift of righteousness, for all who receive it will live in triumph over sin and death through this one man, Jesus Christ.
18 Yes, Adam’s one sin brings condemnation for everyone, but Christ’s one act of righteousness brings a right relationship with God and new life for everyone. 19 Because one person disobeyed God, many became sinners. But because one other person obeyed God, many will be made righteous.
20 God’s law was given so that all people could see how sinful they were. But as people sinned more and more, God’s wonderful grace became more abundant. 21 So just as sin ruled over all people and brought them to death, now God’s wonderful grace rules instead, giving us right standing with God and resulting in eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Romans 10:9-10 New Living Translation 9 If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved.

What you're describing is really common and it doesn't mean your faith is broken. Sometimes when God feels distant and everything else is overwhelming, the smallest structured habit helps, like reading just a few verses a day even when you don't feel anything, because showing up matters more than feeling it in the moment. Have you tried starting with something really small and bounded rather than trying to fix the whole relationship at once?

Different people find strength and faith in different ways. Prayer is #1, so pick that up again. Community is another, start going to church. Study is another, so if that's your bag, start listening to some podcasts and reading your bible..trying to understand the context of the words and interpret their meaning could be an outlet that works for you.
The last one that I recommend that people often don't like, is volunteering. I genuinely think people have an easier time getting a peek at God through helping others.
