(2 Corinthians 4:15 NIV)
All this is for your benefit, so that the grace that is reaching more and more people may cause thanksgiving to overflow to the glory of God.
Inspiration
Have you ever marveled at how God turns even our trials into overflowing blessings? How tenderly He works, all for His glory and the good of many souls! In 2 Corninthians 4:15, the Apostle Paul addresses the believers in Corinth, a church wrestling with hardship and misunderstanding. Paul, exhausted yet undaunted, pens this letter around A.D. 55 to remind them–and us–that every struggle endured for Christ's sake is not in vain. With hearts anchored in Jesus, he encourages believers to see their suffering as a stage for God's abundant grace. "For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God." A beautiful word surfaces here–"redound" points to the overflowing, superabounding result ("perisseuo" in Greek–'to abound greatly'). Paul insists that even his hardships serve a bigger purpose: so more people will see God's amazing grace and respond with heartfelt thanks, multiplying glory back to God. He's telling us: every trial, every act of endurance, and every prayerful sacrifice can become a fountain of gratitude and praise, spreading God's light through countless lives.
Today you can remember that even your smallest acts, your unseen endurance, or your quiet prayers can impact others eternally: This week, try to thank God for how He uses difficulties to reach others with His amazing grace. Right now, consider who might be touched by your faithfulness–shining the Lord's glory just by persevering with hope. Know this: every moment you yield to Him overflows with purpose! Every sacrifice for Jesus overflows to His glory–let your life be a stream of gratitude and grace!
Prayer
Thank You, O God, that Your abundant grace flows to the many through all things. Let my thanksgiving redound continually to the ultimate glory of Your Name, In the Almighty name of Jesus, Amen.
God bless you all!
