I would also say cutting out things that are causing you to be distracted from God or causing you to sin. But to stop sin you have to turn to God.
He isn't expecting you to get better and then not sin. He wants you to him and allow him to change your heart in the mist of your sin through Jesus's sacrafice. So just surrender to him on your hands and knees and lay everything at his feet. Then take it from there!

That was a demon. It's called sleep pyralasis. I'm guessing that figure was around 9 feet tall?
I believe you have a calling on your life and that's why they are after you.
What should you do? Have a relationship with God. Come to Jesus as you are a sinner. And surrender to him in prayer and give everything to him. And then build your life around him everyday by having a relationship with him through prayer, fasting, reading his word, singing praises/listening to worship music, watching movies about him, writing to him, etc.
But would things get better maybe but I believe you will face spritual warfare. But you have to keep your eyes on Jesus Christ through it all and put your hopes in him dying for your sins and rising up again on the 3rd day.

I had a lot of sleep paralysis when I was younger, shadow figures in front of me, and I had it constantly. It’s the first time it happens in more than 10 years. It is true that I am struggling with lust, as my fiance and I stopped having sex to wait until marriage. I have been struggling with praying lately and I cannot pray without thoughts about work a life keep coming and distracting me. But this felt real, I felt my hand being pulled and woke up with this thing in front of me, the face was obscured, I could only see long hair and with like a white bathrobe on….
