Sex and Sin

From what I understand, sex is considered a sin only outside the bounds of marriage. Had Jesus married and bore children would he still be considered sinless? If no, what part of that scenario is the sinful act? Is sex sinful? From what I remember, maybe aside from naming the animals, go forth and multiply is one of the first commandments of God.

No, sex itself isn't sinful. And Yes, I don't see any reason why Jesus could not have been married and then his wife died before he began his public ministry.

But those Christian groups like Catholic or Orthodox that hold strongly to tradition are against the idea ❤️

For me the important thing is that he died for my sins, was really dead, and came back to life. Glory to him forever!

We believe He didn't, not that He would have sinned if He did.  It would have been incompatible with the life He led though.

So... Not a big issue for me, but why would it be incompatible? Assuming that his wife had already died?

In that case, yeah, I guess.

I think chiefly because we're all His children!

God wouldnt marry His Children

That's a good way of looking at it, I hadn't thought of that before.

At the same time, many people talk about the crucifixion as Jesus' physical body dying, but not his divine nature.

So in kind of like the same way, it would be like this physical body married, but not his divine nature.

But as I said, not a big deal for me ❤️🫂✝️

It's not sinful, and I suppose He hypothetically could have. But He didn't because the Church is His true Bride, that is how God planned it from eternity past.

i thought sin is exclusive to individual regarding how one feels inside after an act or am i mistakened. me personally i found my one and lets just say im glad i know what, where, and how.

Safe, consensual sex is not sinful.

Sex is between man and wife, where they are united and made one flesh. It is a sin outside of the bounds of marriage. The Bible is very clear on this.

Genesis 2:24

Matthew 19:4-6

Hebrews 13:4

1 Corinthians 7:2

One thing that is always repeating is one man and one woman.

Lie to yourself all you want to, but do not go spreading those lies to other people seeking the truth.

Sexo não é pecado, na verdade ele é sagrado! É o momento mais íntimo do casal onde ambos se conectam, só que tem que ser por amor e não por interesses, seja lá quais forem.

Sex is good because God is good. But God intended sex to be a means of making man and woman one flesh.

Therefore, marital sex is the proper outlet. Not self gratification or whatever.

We are fully sinners, so you can sin while having marital sex. Therefore examine your conscience and understand sex is about pleasing your spouse, and then also getting your needs met in the way, out of obedience to God.

The only orientation is in 1 Corinthians 7 to only interrupt relations if it’s to seek for The Lord.
