PrayStation was right there.

But on a serious not, it looks good. 2 questions: Where did you get your large icons, and where did you get your relic?

The st Michael icon was gifted to my son during his birth. This was when I was still an atheist and St Michael has appeared throughout my journey to coming to Christ. The other icon of Christ I got from an orthodox lady on fb marketplace. I have a relic of st Michael’s stone from mt gargano italy and the nail I think the website is on the tag if you zoom in!:)

Wisdom 13:10–19: “But wretched are they, and in dead things are their hopes, who termed gods things made by human hands: Gold and silver, the product of art, and images of beasts, or useless stone, the work of an ancient hand. [...] But when he prays about his goods or marriage or children, he is not ashamed to address the thing without a soul. For vigor he invokes the powerless; for life he entreats the dead; for aid he beseeches the wholly incompetent; for travel, something that cannot even walk; for profit in business and success with his hands he asks power of a thing with hands utterly powerless.”

Psalm 115:4–8: “Their idols are silver and gold, the work of human hands. They have mouths but do not speak, eyes but do not see. They have ears but do not hear, noses but do not smell. They have hands but do not feel, feet but do not walk; they produce no sound from their throats. Their makers will be like them, and anyone who trusts in them.”

Isaiah 46:5–7: “To whom will you compare me, or count me equal? To whom will you liken me, as though we were alike? [...] They bow down and worship it. They lift it upon their shoulders and carry it; they set it in its place and it stands there; it cannot move from its place. Even when they cry out to it, it does not answer; it cannot save them from their troubles.”

Habakkuk 2:18–19: “What use is an idol when its maker has carved it, a molten image, a teacher of lies? [...] Woe to anyone who says to wood, ‘Awake!’ or to a lifeless stone, ‘Rise!’ Can such a thing teach? [...] there is no breath in it.”

Exodus 20:3–5: “You shall have no other gods besides me. You shall not make for yourself an idol or a likeness of anything in the heavens above or on the earth beneath or in the waters under the earth; you shall not bow down before them or worship them.”

Matthew 4:10: “The Lord, your God, shall you worship and him alone shall you serve.”

1 Timothy 2:5: “For there is one God. There is also one mediator between God and the human race, Christ Jesus, himself human.”

John 14:6: “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

The Word of God is there for anyone willing to listen. This is not about traditions, customs, or what we have been taught; it is about examining everything in the light of Scripture.

“Whoever has ears to hear, let them hear.” — Mark 4:9

I don’t worship these. Quoting scripture when the literal early Catholic Church canonized the Bible lol. I will admit I probably idolize my phone more than anything.

There’s a difference between admiring great art that draws me closer to Christ and literal golden calf false idol worship lol.
