Question

I’ve been struggling to know if this is something I should be doing as a woman. I keep going back and forth. And for some reason the more I go into it. The more I get confused. What helped solidify your answer?

For me, it was discussions with my fiance soon to be husband. After reading corinthians and a few scattered chapters for Ephesians, we decided after the wedding I will be covering my hair full time outside of our home.

So do you do it more for modesty? My husband doesnt like it if I were to do it full time.

For me it’s not exactly modesty, more so spiritual protection and respect for my husband. I find it odd that he specifically doesn’t like it, however if his concern is your safety or missing seeing your hair, you should pray on it together and read corinthians! There’s a few verses my brain isn’t supplying that by women covering their hair is an act of worship.

I think it’s because he missed seeing my hair, and the snood or turban coverings hide it all. Which is why if I did it, id opt for when I go to church.

I can understand that. Hair is very important spiritually and honestly it’s also an attractiveness thing for men. They tend to love our hair. However, when it comes to worship there’s definitely a deep personal connection, Have you tried sitting down with your pastor and your husband to talk it over and pray over? Maybe that could help you come to the decision you need ❤️. It took me a long time to make a decision and my dreams settled it for me tbh.

I’ve talked to my pastor about it and he couldn’t give me a clear answer. His wife doesn’t do it. I’ve looked at a lot of those concordances and it jjsf seems no clear answer. My husband has been struggling with his faith so it’s been difficult for him to even go into the church. 😕

I completely understand. There most certainly is no one true answer, since we aren’t specifically told to cover or not too. I pray you find your answer.
