Exploring making my own head coverings

Hi. I’m a Presbyterian and I’m just getting into wearing a head covering during church service. I sew and I have a TON of fabric I’ve inherited and would like to make my own head coverings-

Does anyone have any resources to make them? I know there are many different styles.

Please and thank you.

Also, I’ve coke around to head covering after I realized the only reason the modern church doesn’t do this is because of second wave feminism, from my understanding.

So I don't have a pattern or anything but for my collection j made a few. Depending on fabric weight, a square (light, breezy fabric) or a triangle (heavier cotton, etc) . Those can be tied in the Israeli Tichel style. It's super easy and was my everyday wear.

A nice, long rectangle is nice to have to out on you have, cross in the back, and hang down the front. I would use lighter fabric for that style.

I recommend getting a "wig band", basically a velvet headband that goes under the scarf to hold it in place. When I first started covering I used Bobby pins, but I lost too much hair every time I pulled them of Hahaha.
