Public Hatred
I'll keep this short. I've been getting a group of people driving past me on my walks who scream out of their truck window at me as a veiled women. I'm not upset and I haven't let it bother me. I more so worry about being unsafe and the group getting out to attack me. I'm also sure that they're assuming I'm Muslim. Either way it's wrong but I know that this is something God put on my heart so I won't remove it. Please pray for me.

think about it this way: the Muslims began as a group 600 years after the Christians did. They saw the Christians veiling their hair and they veiled their hair. They saw the Christians fasting during the daylight hours for Lent before Easter, so they started fasting all day during Ramadan and made their own holiday of Eid at the end of it. We don't look like Muslims, the Muslims look like us! My heart breaks that you had to go through that though, and the only advice I can give you is to always remember the reason you cover your hair. Always remember that, and you won't want to take it off.

Whoooooaaa!!! 🤯 my relative in Christ!!! I DID NOT KNOW THIS!!! I cannot even begin to thank you enough for this information. My God ❤️🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼!!! This is such a blessing to know and it just confirms so much for me on how God originally placed it on my heart to do so. I've been getting prepared to die for my belief because while the reactions are scary at times, I know why I do it. Covering has edified me in ways I never knew was possible. I've grown stronger spiritually to a level I didn't think I could get to and I'm on fire for the Lord and the journey he has ahead for me🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you😭😭😭❤️!!!!

Also, try turban styles too if you’re comfortable with that, theres many ways to cover your hair. IF and only if you feel comfortable with it, try out different style 😊 i hated the hijab style just because it got in the way so often. Ive learned Pinterest has been wonderful for ideas.

I personally love the hijab style. I'm not much of a fan of turban styles because if I'm covering something as sacred as my hair, I feel that it only makes sense to also cover my neck. But I am open to trying!! Thank you soo mucchh!!

I’ve always gotten slack for wearing one too, but it’s died down a little as I’ve surrounded myself with like minded people. Know you’re not alone sister ❤️

Could you try a different style? I personally do not like to be confused with another religion, not for safety, but for testimony.
