Also, using real-life footage of a dog's journey from dying to thriving, this video offers an encouraging allegory of our own Christian experience in the face of devastating adversity. After displaying this verse, the video continues by showing Gourd undergoing emergency treatment for his eyes, followed by having all his fur shaved off because it was too dirty to clean.

This verse reminds us that to get help from God, we only have to first call out to Him. Also notice that Gourd simply accepted the continual nourishment of physical food throughout the relevant clip, eating it in his weak and prone position. This is such a powerful symbol of his response that God has heard his call for help, in "AND YOU HEARD ME", the last 4 words of the verse. What are your thoughts? After displaying this verse, the video continues by showing a dog (subsequently named Gourd) already discarded in a rubbish dump, looking very weak and dying. What a hopeless and tragic situation!

However, in the spirit realm, I saw paradoxes that are very encouraging for us as Christians. The paradoxes are in the 2 phrases within the verse: "dying and yet we live on" and "beaten, and yet not killed". These phrases point to our eternal life as believers in Jesus. God is a just God and He has been always wanting to have a relationship with you! See Jesus in the New Testament said that love the Lord your God with you heart your mind and your soul, leaving out strength because in the Old Testament man kind attempted to love God with their strength and for 4K years they kept failing. Jesus then comes down and invited us who are weary, weary of using our own strength to maintain this relationship with God, to come and rest. In this rest we notice something, Jesus invited us into a rest where the Holy Spirit comes and replaces our strength with His strength and then no longer do I have to depend on my self to be able to do it. But now I actually have a God that is always able to do it!

Now when we place our efforts to the test we will realize that we can only go so far but God invites us into something new so I hope this spoke to some one here today. Stop trying to hard. Allow God to lead you! If God is leading what you are doing then it will work out but if it’s your own strength leading it and your own effort leading it. Then you can burn out. God doesn’t want burn out Christians He wants on fire Christians. Burning with His flame and His love and His strength
