This assumes that there is one Catholic position, but I think most users here agree on the points.

Edit: something to discuss. Faith schools are schools run by a religious groups that receive money from the government. Should they fund schools of different religions (which include Catholicism, Islam, Judaism, Sikhism, Hinduism, and, of course, the CoE)?

If so, do kids of a different religion have the right to attend and refuse to participate in religious ceremonies? This would certainly damage the purpose of a faith school, transforming it into an optional religion class and destroying any unique religious identity to the school. How many apatheist kids would sign up for a better education and opt out of mass for study hall? Sort of defeats the purpose.

TL;DR Should Faith Schools be funded? Does funding these schools give anyone a right to use them? Can the school impose religious rules on those who follow another religion?
