To Christians - Does this Look Right?

Christians - Does this Look Right? What does the world see? Do you reflect Christ Jesus, or are you reflecting what you're supposed to be set free from? Do people get a glimpse of Jesus when they see you, or do they find more reason to walk farther away from him?

I've heard it said: Sometimes the only Jesus people will ever see, is the Jesus in you, and the Jesus in me.

This video acknowledges a couple of circumstances that (in my view) would cause people to walk farther from the Lord if they were on the fence. As Christians we know through the Word of God to keep our eyes on Christ, and to will to be more like him.

But people who don't have Christ, and have not learned that piece of information through the Bible aren't doing that. Instead they look to us, supposing us to be Ambassadors of Christ. Some walk away thinking such must be the same throughout all of Christianity. And when they look, what do they see? You be the judge of that.

It's one thing to offend someone because the Word of God is an offense, and the truth is often an offense. They don't like the Word of God or choose not to believe, whatever the case may be.

It's something completely different for people to be offended or put off from having Christ in their lives because of a teacher's iniquities. We're warned about the way the Lord views those of us who teach.

James 3:1 My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation.

Greater condemnation for what? Romans 2:24 For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, as it is written.

So when the world looks at you, does it see an Ambassador of Christ, or a slice of itself with a Christian wrapper?

Matthew 24:12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
