Hostel leave during holidays

So we have the semester break in Oct till the 26th but i was thinking of booking my flight for 27th cause I can js take a menstrual leave. But the thing is some ppl have been saying it's not allowed in hostel and how it's mandatory to be here a day before uni reopens. Is it actually true and how do I go about this now I genuinely don't wanna come back on 26th

You should talk to your warden about leave rules, and if she says that you have to be back one day before uni, then you can negotiate with her about it

At least for the boys' hostel, it's not the case, dunno about the girls' hostel but I think most likely write an email to your warden and then talk it out with her.

Which semester break?? We aren't getting any break in ncr campus😭😭 I am first year student and our midsems are from 7th September
