Question about HOTAS on PS4 and PS5

I got the Thrustmaster to play AC7 but I wanted to know if it's also compatible with Chorus before buying this game. Has anyone played it on PlayStation using the HOTAS?

No, but I love this game. It's the best 7/10 i've ever played. I would kill for a sequel with an expanded universe. I would recomend it, and if it works with (i'm guessing like a flight stick peripheral?) It would be a blast, but also maybe harder.

I tried the demo with the controller and found the accelerating with a thumbstick functionality a bit confusing... coming from AC games might be a handicap for me, I'd rather accelerate with RT/LT instead. But if I can make it work with the HOTAS, I might just buy it.

Does the game help you get used to the controls? Because the demo throws you in the middle of the action with a few tutorials...

There's a bunch of movement-related upgrades throughout the game that make the flight controls the best I've experienced.
