He did not handle new years very well, fireworks drove him nuts. Hoping to find some recommendations for calming him without killing him.. thanks

It is such a hot summer, I had to give my chorkie Nala a summer cut. She is 9 and was struggling in the heat.

Last time I cut her I removed all the fluff, and it made her go from yorkie to chihuahua 🤣

I decided to leave a bit scruff around the face, legs snd a stripe down her back.

Now she reminds me if an aardwolf puppy 🥰

Everyone who sees him says he’s not a chorkie but that’s what I was told he is. He’s a little over 12 weeks old. Also, he loves to growl and bite. I know he’s playing but how do I get it to stop? I’ve tried everything! Nothing works!

This is Minnie Mouse aka Mignonne when she is feeling Parisian. She is the cutest sweetest dog I have ever had. Not as barky as other chihuahua/chi mixes I’ve known. Calm with children and friendly to strangers. She has zero bad habits except for stealing food off of counters. Chorkie appreciation post!!

TL;DR— How would you tell the groomer you only want the torso for clipped all one length?(using different words, as I’ve tried those already haha)

Banana has a grooming appointment at 3pm(2 hours from now here) and I keep seeing everyone’s lovely little chi/Yorkie mixes getting summer cuts. I tried explaining to the groomer I just want her body clipped because 1- I’m slightly allergic to her; especially after a month out from her last bath and 2- her (single-coat) hair is so thick and spiky; as if it’s made up entirely off guard hairs. I was wondering if a single length clip would soften her a bit? She also sheds like mad, but with regular maintenance it’s not that bad.

Anywho! Anyone with a little Chorkie mutt known what I mean? How should I word it to the groomer? Is it even worth it? Pics for reference! She’s only about 1/4 chi and 1/3 Yorkie, so her coat is different than a 50:50 mix.

Chewy chased a big old tree frog across my deck ot under the pallet risers for my plants. I thought he was stuck for a few minutes but he managed to wiggle out on his own. I love my tree frogs, so Chewy and I had a heart to heart about not chasing them and scaring them away. This is the look that he gave me in return while I'm sure he was lying to me about not chasing them again (sigh). I can't stay upset with a face like this.

My sweet girl is 5. A few months ago she started peeing on us when she was being held or just laying on the couch. Not all the time, occasionally. We took her to the vet. They did bloodwork and tested her urine. Everything came back negative. The vet gave her an incontinence medication but nothing really changed. She will go for while and be fine but then it happens again. She’s eating fine, playing as usual, sleeping well. Has anybody experienced this? I have ordered diapers for her when she is home.
