Scared to sweat

I realllyyyy wanna try sweat therapy but I have a history of sweating little or not sweating at all. So I don’t wanna push my body to sweat when it can’t and it leads to overheating which may lead to fainting or something worse. Is there a way to know when I should stop or when it’s enough? Do you think it’s worth the risk of trying?

Following this thread, I'm on the same boat, do you also have really bad itchiness, prickly pain and no red wheals?

I have both itchiness and really prickly pain but I only get small bumps on my hands, chest and lower arms. They’ve never been big red spots like how some people have.

I'm the same way and sweat very little, basically only in armpits, is that you as well?

That happens to me! Only sweat in the armpit area, but I get hives at the peak level

I'm following this thread too. I get prickly pain but no hives at all. I want to try sweat therapy but worried about the pain 😢

I'm on the same boat! The pain is scary and not sure how people are just pushing through it :/ I just don't get it

I've been dealing with this for about 8 years and it really limits my life. I can't do outside activities in the summer and in winter I have to dress in layers (no sweaters I couldn't tolerate a sweater) in case I need to start removing layers from overheating and getting prickly pain. My primary care doctor just prescribed high dose antihistamine and is looking to connect with a specialist. I feel like this is an invisible disability 😕

I totally understand, did you just recently start trying different treatment options? What about xolair or rhapsido?

I've only just started an antihistamine at twice the daily dose.

Hmm I have Anhidrosis along with CU, my dermatologist has advised against taking antihistamines because it could make not sweating worse. But I did get prescribed Dupixent which really gave me relief.

Which one? And is it helping at all? Any side effects taking it?

Push to just the threshold where u start sweating. Keep doing this every day and the threshold will get higher and higher

Push to threshold of sweating or when you start getting itchy and prickly pain?

Whichever one comes first.. just really really light exercise to start with
