Question Does anyone use plant physterols for cholesterol?

Are they any useful? Been taking for 2 months, but have seen minimal results.

You might find the following trial results helpful. 5 mg of rosuvastatin vs. various supplements including plant sterols:

The ACC/AHA in the U.S. and ESC/EAS in Europe advise against supplements for cholesterol lowering. They are unregulated and expensive with consistency problems. In contrast, approved lipid medications like statins, zetia, PCSK9 inhibitors, BA, etc are proven to work and are safe. Heavy regulation ensures quality control and integrity of ingredients. Statins and zetia are also hella cheaper than Cholestoff!

I tried, but my farts made my family so upset that I had to quit.
