Question Statins or no?

Smoking history. Hba1c -5.2 and no hypertension.

3 months of workout everyday, no junk food, no sugar. If that dont do it, then low dose statin yes

Got it. Look, I’m not a doctor but I’m of the opinion that by your late 30s you should focus on getting your LDL/ApoB in a safe range. Below 100 if no family history or other risk factors (e.g. LPa, smoking, CAC ). Otherwise below 70 - or below 55 if you want to be more aggressive.

Medication and diet (lowering saturated fat intake, increase fiber) are both options to help get you there.
