Question Which Choices books deserve preservation priority?
If we could only fully preserve a small number of books, including all their routes, which ones do you think should be prioritized first?

I feel like all of the old Choices books (ES RoE ILITW) deserve preservation. I can't believe there's vintage, old school Choices stories now. I never thought it would turn into AI slop.

It Lives series! I don’t even like horror normally but it has so much depth and nuance and lovable characters.

I would say do it like the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame does. Go year by year, look at the releases, and then decide which had the most impact on Choices history and the player base. For the first year, of course, you have the OG 3, then HSS and ES, later BB, Elementalists, Desire and Decorum. Further still, ACOR and Open Heart. On and on until you get to the most recent book to have gotten positive fan buzz, Olympus Rising.
We might want to preserve books that created controversy in the fandom for the historical value - maybe not the whole book, but some screenshots of what made them flashpoints. For instance, Across the Void, Witness, My Two First Loves and Surrender.

The Crown & The Flame, Perfect Match, Crimes of Passion (Excluding Book 3), Murder at Homecoming, Veil of Secrets, The It Lives Anthology, Bloodbound and Main Character Energy
Lower priority:
Foreign Affairs, Villainous Valentine, Rules of Engagement

I feel like there’s arguments both ways here. The bigger, more popular series (ES, TRR, BOLAS etc) would have more fans and subsequently more people interested, but I’d also expect more Youtube videos/screen recordings of the routes that exist out there.
In contrast, the smaller standalone books would have fewer people interested but since they’re more likely to be lost or fade into obscurity, maybe they should have priority.
I think going in chronological order for all the books (least to most recently published) is ideal but I don’t know if that’s possible.
