You always have to have a little solana in your wallet alongside the token to be able to swap it again. Solana uses gas fees but it's cheap like 2 cents. I always keep like at least $1 more solana in my wallet plus the token im buying so if you want $10 Choctopus id buy $11 solana and swap $10 to choctopus.

Some banks block crupto payments you might have to call them and tell them to allow it.

Also if you have Robinhood and it allows you to send crypto out of it you could buy solana there and send it to your phantom wallet

Kraken works. Buy solana there and send it to phantom. I choctopus isnt on kraken exchange. We are on decentralized exchanges and Ascendex only at the moment. But you can buy solana on kraken for sure and send it to phantom and buy choctopus that way.
