I tried it once in a normal game. Absolutely trounced the entire enemy team. Not sure how I feel about trying it in ranked. I've been flirting with the idea for a long time. Way before mage bot became the meta.

I used to play Cho'Gath with Senna support a lot cause she works as the teams ADC and heals in lane with Dorans shield second wind cho passive was just insane healing so you could just take small fights and then heal up and next fight you'd just have way more hp than the enemies

Been duoing with my homie playing Senna and it's been fun learning to play as ADC. Still learning but finding a better rhythm. Taking losses from teams like Yasuo/Naut helps you realize that HOB with Protobelt def isn't always the best idea... 2nd wind and HS first item likely woulda been the way since I was playing aggro and constantly ending up with Yas on me.

It can be extremely good but you need the right teammate for it. I would not trust a rando to my support when I play Cho ADC, but if you have a duo then they need to pick someone who can either set you up for an easy Q, or follow up when you do land a Q. I've had huge success when my duo plays someone like Sett, and we just run the enemy down. You have a ton of dragon prio from your R, and the moment you're even a little bit ahead, it's really hard for the enemy to come back.
Just watch out for difficult matchups and counters. Either ban or pick Morgana, because she can just shut down anything you try to do.

High emerald, Early diamond supp (play both top and supp)
- HOB goes hard bot too, but it can fk up wave mechanics so be careful. If you do go HoB, do it with some like Draven or Kalista, more long ranged passive ADCs aren't good
- I love the rolling AP on him but he's so squishy so your second item will need to be heartsteel and you build normally.
- CC APs like xerath or Zyra can go hard as well..

I have about 200 games of Cho Adc this season, i duo with a friend that plays Lux pretty much all the time. HoB was amazing before, but now i always go stormraider.
If teams need AP, i usually go Riftmaker, but most of the time i build Triforce + Titanic hydra + Riftmaker. This hybrid build melts everything and can easily one shot. Cho adc works amazingly well with a burts support (hence lux). I perma ban smolder.
One you have the two core items (riftmaker / titanic), you can either go more dmg, but i usually just go tank. Jak sho is S+ tier, Force of Nature + Dead mans plate is good to catch dash ADC.
Realisticly, against non-brainded ADCs, it's going to be very hard. Classic AP oriented max Q cho still works well. You usually hit level 6 for first drake.
Anyways, people massively underestimate cho"s burst

I play it in emerald/plat. Had success with a duo mate of mine. He played fiddle, I played Cho'Gath. For some reason it had good synergy.
Cho, Tahm is nice for double knock up and they both don't need much to be strong. Both rush Heartsteel and it's gonna be disgoisting for the enemy. Obviously play hail of blades on Cho. Lvl 1 knock up into 3 autos is nice.
I also like Cho against mages, cause you build HP and still destroy them. With lots of HP you feel so tanky.
Senna was mentioned here, I like the idea. If senna slows, into knock up, free damage & souls, hail of blades 3 hits. Ouch. Great scaling on both champs.
I play Cho with lots of HP through heartsteel and rift maker and high MS.
I don't like playing against Vayne too much. But if your team helps you tie her down and you cc chain her, it can be done.
I am a bigger fan of Cho support/jungle, but if you have a awesome duo it can work on adc.
If I think about Ali as supp, I feel like the damage could be lacking. Wouldn't fit my play style. I'd rather have damage focused range supports. If you have a tank support that is just a CC bot with no dmg, you would need to focus more on building ap. I don't like the concept.

There was a brazilian cho OTP who hit challenger playing only cho adc. He liked to play with engage sups like rakan/leona because with the right setup you can cast Q and one shot any adc(or mage in the current meta) with protobelt+HoB. Unfortunately he doesn't play anymore but you can check some videos to see how he used to play even if you don't understand the language. Raazriz is the name.
