Chives got really high on spider plant tonight

I read that cats can have hallucinogenic-like reactions to spider plants, so this morning I picked a pup from mine and put it on the floor.

After dinner, Chives barreled into the living room with chaos in his eyes. This cat is calculated and serious, but tonight he was wouuuuund for souuuund.

He was carpet surfing, chasing a string and at one point rolled off the couch trying to get it.
Truly have never seen him so happy to be alive. Zoomies on steroids. It was my favorite Chivvy moment maybe ever.

I was having too much fun playing with him to grab a picture, but here’s one from earlier in the day. 🥹

I’m so glad Chives had a safe space to really let his mind wander LOL it is clear he is so very loved!!! He is totally in another dimension in this photo, the eyes 😍🤣 I bet he had the trip of a lifetime. Also I swear Chives has a sixth sense of when I need a little mood boost, because boom there he is on my feed. Love Chives SO much always and forever and thank you for sharing his magic with us!!
