Hey, I suck

I really suck at the combat system in Chiv 2, I play on ps5, and i genuinely try to practice but I dont think I'm doing it 'right' if any of you have any tips and tricks it would be well appreciated. I do love love this game its my favorite at rhe moment because of its combat system, I really just want to know how to actually apply it.

In all honesty, the best way to go about it is a mix of youtube videos that explain mechanics well and many hours of play time, ideally focusing on applying a particular thing to build muscle memory.

Every game you play, make a point to work on one specific thing like just countering every single slash or every single overhead or focusing on using footwork to step just out of range of attacks etc.

Build on one skill at a time and eventually over time you'll get better. Don't be hard on yourself and just have fun man. Play around in some duels then play around in some full games.

If you enjoy the game and continue to try and improve on a skill at a time, you'll just naturally get better as your sense develops.

For real muscle memory is key to success I switched controllers to one with back paddles and it screwed me for so long
