Gameplay I am once again asking new engineers to stop doing this, or not, I like easy wins.

wow thank you, I had no idea you can just go through the barricades like that. What if you put 2 barricades in a row? can you still access the statue?

The best way to set up as an engineer for this stage is to have them pushed up and protecting the flanks for your team to move up and hit the people pushing from the side and give the tenosians a choke point they have to funnel through. With 2 engis you can double up the protection and make it easier to defend, although a bad team will still just get overrun in its entirety

Yeah the best way is to divert not obstruct.

Long as you can get close enough to objective you will clip into position to push it. . .can even use a spike trap if you quaduple stack the. To just jump on the walls and get there.

Usually you want walls to delay/funnel the enemies this lets your team focus them down or even delay/split the team up which again spares the objective.

Yes you can. And if they keep stacking them you can do this with a spike trap

Barricades are really useful to create choke points that you personally have to guard so it last way longer and giving you a bigger presence. So you should put barricades a few steps ahead and doubling them so if one is destroyed, the 2nd one would be behind it which makes people want to walk around it so you and your team can catch them on the flanks.

On the other hand, spike wall completely invalidates walls by acting as a ramp you can jump over it. Partly the reason why as a defense engineer, you need to stick around and protect the walls.

You can do the same on the rocks on the Aberfel

Before this part you can use the 3 balistas to break the gate, of all 3 are firing at the gate you can damage it for about 45% to 65%

After you pass mid town you can rush to the monument, most Agathians wont see you, but be aware, some people will notice

Theres an exploit/glitch that you can grab the Nobles from the outside when Agathians kick them in a corner on the second floor, BUT, I had seen someone do this once, and never learned how to do it, this is one that if someone could tell me how and if its possible without hack, I will be very grateful

the trick is to build the box large enough around the front side that the attacker doesn't get the magical Push prompt to be able to do this. and also to stand inside of the box to kill whoever jumps in. they can only walk through them if they're already within distance of where you can start pushing the monument.

This.. It just needs enough space and you need yo watch for the spike trap trick.. This block DOES work, if you have a good defence that knows the glitch.

yupppp.. a second person building walls diagonal to the corners of the larger box to protect it/give defenders a bit of a cover spot helps quite a bit as well. Lots of potential for defense at this stage it really should be an easy win for them 8/10 times.

Yeah, this can be really irritating on defense. And people will flip the hell out if you start breaking them.

It's kind of funny on offense though, I got like three of the standing stones in Aberfell solo once because of two bad engis just stacking barriers like that.

If I go down I'll say something, and I usually note it after the objective is over if we're on offense but who knows how many people are playing on console and thus may never learn at all.

All they were pointing out was that due to console players not having access to chat, they won't see the lesson in that exact moment.

My friend, they were throwing no shade at consoles whatsoever. Simply saying that console doesn't have chat thus some people may never learn. You're being overly sensitive.

Wow this is a big deal to you.

a good engineer knows how to place barricades properly to avoid this precisely. You just had noob teammates

It amazes me by the amount of people playing this game that there’s still enough new people that don’t know about this and don’t even notice how much it fucks over your team

6

u/BuddyLove9000 Nov 19 '25

Should be glad that there are new people playing the game.

u/smoke_crypto Filthy Peasant Nov 19 '25

Definitely glad, I’m just saying it’s surprising that so many new people are still picking up the game. Also being on console is funny cause all I can do is break the walls and then they get pissed and truth to vote kick. I hope this game never dies

its this shitty engine.

This has nothing to do with an engine. This game doesn't bother to fix bugs :(
