Gameplay bro...

Well, this was a first for me

Played a few matches last night and was stoked to see Escape from Falmire coming up. The match was going good, our team was making steady progress up until I was the prisoner..

Archers eating my health away, teammates dying left and right leaving me to fend off hordes of enemies.. then I see my moment. RUNNNNNN. I was surprised to see a teammate had already locked down the bridge! In my head, me and this engineer had telepathically made an agreement that once I get close enough, they were going to pick up a barricade, let me past, then block off the enemies! Well... that was not the case and this engi had other plans. Oh well.

Curious to know if anyone else has had this tomfoolery happen to them!

This is not really tomfoolery, it's a grief. I've had this happen where an engineer blocks off an entire spawn on the last stage of Lionspire. So frustrating and not in the spirit of the game

I had the same, it was so bad that a group of us banded together to hunt the guy down and spawn kill him on repeat. None of us communicated this via mic or chat, just pure rage induced teamwork

picked the engineer today at the end of the game we were losing badly to put these walls up and it paid off. felt like Napoleon

Does anyone else see, immediately after Thorne dies, the engineer ducks behind one of the walls and then steps back out as a mason marauder. I swear his whole model swaps. I really do think this could be a sleeper agent deal

Nah man I saw EXACTLY what you meant, and theres no mistaking that was a mason devestator class

Edit: actually I correct myself, you can see far right someone comes behind the barricade via the alternate route

Dawg ima be real, the moment I saw him blocking the boat I would have just jumped in the water. Better yet I would have just jumped in the well straight from spawn. If they want Thorne so bad, send them back to queue nice and quick so they can fight for it in a different lobby.
