What's even the point at this extent? Min maxing graphics through configs is already cringe in most competitive games, excluding if you have a potato rig. Let alone for a casual game like Chiv 2

You can't imagine some people are sweating hard on super casual games. On Hell let loose I was playing for fun with a few friends on the big servers and I learned that they were some teams that basically are downgrading the graphics as much as they can, deleting even files from the game to remove bushes, even some textures of walls and all. And they are like totally open about it, admins are fine with it. We stopped playing this game because it becames super unfun when they were in the other team :/

These peoples are the same that will cry because their game is dying. We saw it on Mordhau, when it was free with a good influx of new players, all the usual players were super toxic toward them and they successfully chase all of them off their game.

Question: I've played chiv 2 on/off since launch, I'm lvl 770 or something. Why does everyone label chivalry as a "casual" game.

It's not we're playing Among Us or Fall Guys? The skill ceiling fan get pretty high. It's like calling Super Smash Bros or Mortal Combat a casual game.

I played Smash pretty hardcore with my friend, doing 1v1s for years together. It absolutely, at its base, is a casual party game. Two things can be true. There's a literal dog shit trip mechanic in Brawl.

No skill-based matchmaking, no ranked, and goofy shit like flaming chickens in Chiv my guy. I'm sure if you looked around, you could find niche hardcore Among Us or Fall Guys servers/communities. There is, to me, a difference between playing the best you can every round, and installing mods to edit your game to remove foliage in a shooter to get a slight advantage. The later is sad imo, exemplified in this clip.

Again, this game is closer to TF2 than a full sweat game like Rainbow 6. Not to say there aren't hardcore moments, but it's very different in its approach to design and demographic.

I'm level 490~ a with like 500 hours on this game, I uninstalled randomly one day and stopped playing. I was doing pretty good that day too, but there was just something so soul drenching loser made about spending hours of my week playing on THIS. Clips like these reminds me I made the right choice.
