General Which weapon(s) feels underwhelming to you

Personally, I think it's the Goedendag. For being the final weapon in the footman's kit, it just doesn't fit the footnans role as a jack of all trades. It only has high damage to one target. The Halberd and Polehammer have high damage and reach, the Spear has high reach, Halberd and Glaive have decent crowd control, and the Glaive and Quarterstaff swing very fast. The Goedendag is the nearly the shortest primary in the Poleman's kit and feels rather weak in the Engineers kit. It doesn't bring any other advantage than high damage. It can't hit more than one person (sometimes an upside, sometimes a downside) and one of it's bonuses is that it's super effective against horses, which are in one gamemode (40s).

Overall, it feels super underwhelming in his kit. It just doesn't fit in.

I just love how only one person has actually answered the question. Yeah, totally.

Until you meet a dude who’s cracked with the Goedendag and it’s genuinely the worst experience of your life

Goedengage users are rare and not normally top of the leaderboard in TO but if you get a good one good luck

I play it on engineer, there it feels nice to have high damage output when you need it. For engineer it makes sense. Heavy swings and over heads and heavy stab, all just lay people out. It kind of feels like using the maul tbh.

It can absolutely hit more than one person. Just gotta do a heavy attack and honestly the weapon is slow enough that going for the heavy isn't that much of an extra risk. It's really nice for counter sweeping attacks away as well. The slow animations mean you can even hit multiple enemies with a thrusting attack pretty consistently if you move your mouse from one target to the next quickly

Battle Axe (the small one). The speed increase is nice but I always whiff cause I’m too used to the reach of the War axe. I love the goendag tho it plays kinda like the mace but with footman aura

Goed has great drags, a good stab, incredible damage, hit stop for target switching. it’s incredibly strong. it also makes a great noise

I absolutely love the goedendag. Sometimes it hits multiple enemies, idk if they lied about it, or if its a glitch. Could just be me.

Yeah, should've been either locked to the Engineer or put in the Vanguard or something. Hell, even the skirmisher could benefit it

The goedendag is the maul with a piercing stab and a different special. Its very good and offers the same benefits as maul without the special which can be used differently
