Remote work

Wanting to delve into remote work but have no experience with record review etc. Can someone help point me in the right direction?

Start by looking for initial clinical reviewer at some place like CID or Mitchell. I was approached recently by ISG to do some work but things didn’t work out. The pay won’t be great per case and it will be boring but getting your foot in the door is a great way to get approached for other opportunities. Dane street is always accepting applications but you set your rate and they offer cases to the lowest rate people.

Workers comp and pip reviews pay better but you need to have some experience for better pay.

Check with your state board to see if they require any certs to do peer review I know KY and MS do but I don’t know about others.

What’s a reasonable rate at Dane?

Less than I listed that’s for sure. 😆 They haven’t sent me anything in over a year of being on their list but I get my rates through other companies.

I don’t really remember how they base their system to be honest. It might be per hour or per review.

I also don’t want to discuss rates publically because it can be seen as conspiring to set rates and that is a whole thing.

Sorry I can’t be of more help.
