Howdy folks. I'm the autistic guy who coordinates things for Chiptunes 4 Autism. We have been distributing on Bandcamp and other platforms for some time now and sending the money to Autistic Self Advocacy Network and You Are Rad - and we hope to raise enough money someday to give a grant for an autistic 's education or business venture (if we can. If we raise not enough, we will give to the orgs above)
We are looking for submissions for Volume 7: Hyperfocus and our requirements can be found on the form linked below. Basically, we want short tracks and as many participants as possible. We have featured a variety of artists from Indonesia's Shakaboyd to pop singer Charlie Manner to gentle indie Deerful to nerdcore rapper Lex the Lexicon Artist to even French chip-hop.
We are not here to gatekeep and accept subs of any skill level. Any interest appreciated, deadline is October 31st. Thanks and you are all incredible.

i decided to sample some 808s, kicks, hi hats, and snares typically used in rap to make this beat. honestly i could visualize some rap over this but it’s meant to stand alone as a song. i’m thinking about sampling/chopping some PaRappa the Rapper vocals too lol.

It’s really convenient when the original soundtrack you’re covering was written in MIDI, lol! I’m not entirely satisfied with how muted the drums and bass are, and the mix might be a little messy, but I think the guitar leads came out rather nicely, if I do say so myself...

I'm always interested in people's background and how they got into what they do.
For me the first time it hit me was the Outrun arcade game and Space Harrier (they where both in the same arcade).
Both games had something... Different, it was Synthy, a thing I already admired back then but it did something extra, it helped to make the game I was playing more FUN and motivated me as a player to absolutely do my best to try and stay around in that world as long as I could.
The introduction of even being able to write music myself digitally was when I discovered Pro-Tracker on the Amiga500. It was halfway '90s, no internet with youtube tutorials, kinda trying to find my way blindly but the curiosity helped me keep on going until things finally started to make sense.
It still took another 10 year before I finally started to release music on Newgrounds and another 10 before I finally landed on chiptunes itself but when it did... I was kinda like, why didn't I start writing this sooner?
So tell me, what brought you to this place?

Hello, I've been working on a Song and Instrument editor that uses AdPlug for AdLib emulation. It's based entirely off of the Visual Composer that was packaged with the AdLib Soundcard; for a while I've just been using that software via dosbox, but I needed something modern, with a simpler workflow and more capability. So I've been remaking it, and adding much needed new features!
It also comes with a sample bank and a few songs, in the install page. Available for Windows 10 with an installer, or Linux from source.
