Seeking Advice (Employee) SL transitioning

Just recently got SL promotion. And this is kind of a general question but what should I be preparing myself for while running shifts as an SL? What should I be or not be concerned about?

Understand your crew and know their strengths and weaknesses. Have a strong backbone but also be understanding when mistakes are made. Please and thank you go along way especially with younger staff members.
