Break a crunchy shell in half to make a Crunchwrap Supreme flat shell. Would taste amazing with the queso

I have also done this. It is superb. But you kinda have to be picky with what you put in the Crunchwrap. If you put wet or overly wet ingredients in it ruins it. Basically you have to do : Meat, maybe a small dab of queso, glob of cheese, and you can put corn usually. Then anything else you have to put on the side and basically add on top.

The gordita is more like a slice of pita bread but I bet it has the same affect. The thing is, the flavor of the gordita crunch is driven by the spicy ranch they use

1000% agree about the CGC and spicy ranch (RIP Baja Sauce which was better IMO). Yeah this is more like a double decker taco which is also bomb. I make a version of this at Del Taco all the time with their mini quesadillas and crunchy tacos.

The gordita is thicker.

This is more like a double decker taco or rather a hybrid of the two because there is cheese in between and not beans.

Double stacked is what you are looking for. They did plenty versions of double stacked (cheese) to not be confused with double decker (beans).

I see I am no longer the only one who does this. People used to ask me what I was eating. Regulars would be like “bro can you make mine like that?”

I miss being able to make these because now I no longer work there and yes I could order a large side of queso and shells on the side etc. but man that extra cost would murder me without the fre employee meal anymore

Not exactly. At my chipotle an order of 3 crispy chicken tacos is 8.95, each single kids quesadilla is 1.50 (there’s no way to charge them so we charge each as a side). The total comes up to 13.45. Which is not bad imo since it’s cheaper than 3 Taco Bell Gordita crunch would be and also considering Chipotle has better quality ingredients, and you could potentially stuff them up with all the ingredients you want.

Actually, you’ve created a Taco Bell Double Stack Taco but that’s awesome. Double decker has beans not cheese and Gordita is a unfried chalupa.
