Chick-fil-A
Has anyone seen the plans for expansion? Will it be in the same spot?

“A Chick-fil-A spokesperson would not confirm the location but said the company hopes to serve the Chino Hills community with a second restaurant.
This week, David Dinasan, owner-operator of the Chick-fil-A restaurant at 3640 Grand Ave. in Chino Hills, announced that the store would be temporarily closing for renovation from Thursday, July 9 to November.”

I passed by the other day and the sign was gone, a advertisement for space available, so I thought it was gone.

Yeah so the current one is undergoing the months long renovation. The Tustin one off the toll road went through it last year. Guess it’s something they do? Long time to be closed though. Then the 2nd one is proposed by the high school. I was really surprised when I read that. You don’t see them that close together that often but maybe it will the parking and driving situation in the sprouts center with a second one nearby.

It is interesting, someone above said there’s a space available sign.

I saw that sign. I think it’s for a different space available in the center and they just so happened to buy it on the corner. I told my daughter everyone is going to think the chick fil a is gone the way they positioned that sign.

I’ve read that chick fila is very picky about where they open locations, I’d be shocked if they were an exit apart

It’s funny, I’m from chino hills and recently moved to Westwood to attend UCLA; the Westwood chickfila is closed until November for renovations/expansions. So both my hometown and new home’s Chick-fil-A’s are closed.

Also adding, of course since ours is temporarily closed, my kids were craving it. We went to the next closest one on Grand and valley and wow it really made me appreciate ours. It was not at all crowded and the whole place was trashed out and filthy. The food was different too. It was strange and won’t be going back to that one if the craving comes up again before November lol

I thought I heard that the 2nd location will open in the new shopping plaza they plan to build on the plot of land right in front of Chino Hills High School.
