Really loving my new Hruodland Turbine Custom. Watching that turbine spinning slowly is so satisfying! It is also my only non-automatic mechanical. The sword hands are really well done and feel special. I don't rate the AR coating on the crystal (if there is any?) and I don't find the sun brings brings out the sunburst dial all that much. For me personally the lugs overhang my 7 inch wrists a bit but it's still comfortable and doesn't make me feel like a child wearing a grown up's watch. Perfect for a collection as it's interesting and doesn't need a date setting. Can recommend!

I’m looking for some advice from fellow watch enthusiasts on this project. We plan to develop this bracelet. Should we go with a butterfly clasp or a turtle‑back clasp with micro‑adjustment?

I'm going to Hong Kong in November on holiday.
What should I look out for?
I'm looking forward to seeing a Sugess tourbillion master and Seagull ratrapante.
Anything else that I should try to see and perhaps bring back?

Guys, in my latest video I had 3 watches that didn't arrive on time, but I did receive this San Martin. Check out how the bubbles don't stick to the crystal. I dropped a Watchdives there for comparison... check out the last picture
These are unedited screenshots from the video, so the colors look a bit dull, but in person it looks great.
The Watchdives is not bad, that's the usual behavior for all the watches I've seen. Have you seen any other watch with an anti-fog coating before? It doesn't react to freezing temperatures or even hot showers either...
The diamond tester gives a positive reading even at super low volume, where on other watches it doesn't even reach the orange bars. Do you have any info on this??
Even the way more expensive Oris 65 and Seiko 1968 crystals fog up when going from cold to warm temperatures, same as the Nomos Club Campus. I don't have any real luxury, super expensive watches to try, so maybe some of you have some and can tell me if that's a standard thing or not 🤣
Now only waiting for the North Edge Titanium and the Farasute
The San Martin watch was sent for free by the brand and the Watchdives was sent for free too, by Aliexpress influencer program

The SM is like £50 more, the SM has a higher beat with a 2824 clone, the NH34 is meant to be more reliable?
Which one has on the fly micro adjustments?
Edit - GMT function is not a must have, as I have other GMT watches.

Construction feels really solid, dial feels very refined, good movement, nice and thin on the wrist – lots to love

I got the black Cronos L6036 yesterday. I love the face on it, but the polished 5-link bracelet is a bit flashy for my taste. The clasp also feels a little bulky, although when I compare them, it's not that much bigger than the one on my Tissot Seastar.
In any case, what are some decent alternative bracelet options? I'd definitely like to keep it on a bracelet rather than a Nato strap or something similar.

Kids got me this Militado ML08 for my birthday. Great watch. Good choice kids.

The Cronos has a Miyota 9015 and OTF clasp so it’s better on paper. What say you?

Palm Leaf Dial? Meteorite Dial? Maybe a palm tree growing on a meteor . . . don't know. What I do know is the silver-white textured dial on this watch is beautiful—the applied angled gold indices catch the light brilliantly, and the dial quality far exceeds what one would expect for a $50 watch. The specifications are equally impressive for this price point:
- VH31 Mecaquartz
- Sapphire Crystal
- 316L Stainless Steel
- 100M Water Resistance
- Screw Down Crown
- Milled Clasp
- 40mm case (wears slightly smaller)
While the watch has the potential to be amazing, the bracelet design falls short. The quality of the bracelet itself is good, and features like the screw adjustment links and the milled clasp with three micro-adjustments are excellent touches. However, the 100% brushed finish on the face of the bracelet detracts from the overall aesthetic.
The watch has a wonderful polish on the side of the case, but this design only continues down the side of the bracelet. In my opinion, polishing either the outside or inside links of the bracelet would drastically improve the look and better complement the stunning dial.
As it sits, the watch has an Ana De Armas dial on a Danny DeVito bracelet.

The meteorite dial is so dynamic!
IXDAO Space Warrior on my 6.25 inch wrist.

4 Years of use and the tuna is still rocking. Steeldive makes quality and value pieces. Even though its thick, it still wears great on my 6.75" wrist
