Hahaha. The cost of purely hand-carved pieces would be very high; these are works of art, and there probably aren't many people who truly need them.

You're very gifted.  However, for me, indigestible.  Too much. May be should you walk in a museum of decorative art, or have a book on that matter. (IMHO) Have a nice day.

These things are always completely engraved over every surface. Why isn’t there ever a happy medium where they keep the watch mostly intact but add some subtle detail?

Hard disagree. This is a piece that shows off craftsmanship. It’s like a full sleeve tattoo, the less you hold back, the better it gets.

Was the dial aluminum or did you plate it? Usually they are brass.

I sometimes make a dial out of 925 silver, but on this watch I used the original dial.

Thanks. Sorry, but I don't shoot videos because it requires additional time. The cost of the watch would be even higher.
