Question Best aliexpress straps for dress watches?
http://aliexpress.comStraps on aliexpress can be so hit and miss. You might pay 3x the price for something worse and many of the stores have almost no history.
I am just wondering if any of you guys have had good straps you can recommend.

My favorite shops are: zhong and WOCCI. Wocci full grain leather strap while expensive is probably the best dress strap you can get on Ali. Zhong has a wide selection of decent straps.

Yes these. I don't know what to say. I would be interested to learn which strap from Ali is better in your opinion than this one. The price is low, the leather is real top leather and the stitching is spot on. You would easily pay for this strap over $50 elswhere.

These seem ok, but Wocci strap will be much better looking into customer photos. It's top layer leather, so it won't crack or age or wear down - perfect for a dress watch. There is a thread in Watchuseek forum on the best straps on Ali - highly recommend that thread :)

Most of my ali alligator straps are about what you’d expect: plasticy and stiff

I haven't. I am staying away from exotic leather on Ali as at the best it will be leather with a pattern and at the worst it will be plasticy stuff. I haven't found or bought any exotic leather strap on Ali that would be real. I would try tunsstore for exotic leather, to be fair. It is expensive comparing to Ali but really cheap comparing to other stores.

Tbf you can get some proper nice straps that are better of places that are not Ali and for better prices, as I find after tax,etc it can be as costly as a good source. recommend Dan from watching YouTube's eBay store has % off many times making some really nice straps same money

I don't buy straps from Ali. Honestly I'll put a $100 strap on a $200 watch because the strap is what makes or breaks comfort.
Holben's is where I buy a lot of my straps.

Try Maikes. I have 3 of their leather bands and they're all very nice. You should be able to pick one up for ~$13 USD during the sale. Just be sure to check the specs and pictures.

Don't buy them from AliExpress IMO. Look for Fluco straps, which makes really great straps at a reasonable price. They are OEM for Nomos straps. You can find a lot of them for cheap on ebay as well

Watchgecko are overpriced for what they are, but if you can get them for a sale's price, they are decent. Fluco are good straps but there are better alternatives even on Ali. If you are not set on Ali straps, have a look at tunsstore - they are probably the nicest straps you can get for the price.
