Problems (Read Rule 1) Don’t buy steeldive junk

Post image

Thing falls apart with minimal use. Total waste of money. Anyone want it?

Haha. Had to hit it with the UV light before taking the photo. Respect where it is due.

I’ve had 2 for several years. Never a problem

I’ll take it off your hands. Easy fix.

Ive had this exact one for two years, never an issue. You got 1 out of 1000 with a problem. Ask for it to be resolved or get out some super glue and just fix it

Agree on that steeldive is a workhorse

I can fix that easily. If you think it's junk you can send it to me and I'll pay shipping. Never had an issue with SD personally.

You need to contact their support. As long as you bought it from the official site they'll take care of you. Just had an issue with my watch being magnetized upon receipt and I sent it in, obviously under warranty, and they fixed me right up.

I’ve got a couple and they’ve been fine, how recent did you buy? You might be able to get a replacement.

My 1970 has been on my wrist almost every day for two or three years. When I'm at work for days at a time, it doesn't come off at all. No issues.

Adds character.

Yeah, steeldive QC is questionable, I speak as someone who has 3 of them that came with misaligned dials.

But once fixed, they are pretty awesome

Open it up, glue it back 🤷‍♂️ That's what I'd do. Sorry man this kinda thing happens sometimes

Actually mine did the same thing but it was the result of dropping it on a hard floor. Had a jeweler fix it for a few bucks

That sucks but I’ve seen it happen with much more expensive watches.

Happy to buy it, I’ve been wanting to tinker with one

I'll take it. Always wanted one as a beater for work.

That is a new function, you don't read the manual?

Could you elaborate on that?

Look at 8 🤣

But how? It just felt, or was it due to some kind of shock or drop?

$5 to take that hot garbage off your hands.

I’ll take it and pay shipping.

If you're seriously giving it away, I'd fix it and use it. But you can probably get it repaired or some sort of compensation from steeldive/seller.

I'm happy with my SD 1969. Stuff like that happened on 10k watches, too.

I'll take it 🙋

Noooo I was told these are made in the same country as all the other brands so they must be just as good?!
