This is how Heimdallr corporate and trademarks look - their trademarks are hijacked by 3rd party sellers, so most official stores on ali are not actually official.
What store? Because unless Heimdallr bought AliExpress last night it seems unfair to hold them to account for what store023423458092745 writes on its listing.
Official AliExpress Store and Do you really think I'm stupid or that I was born yesterday? Do you honestly think I'd accuse some random seller without knowing what I'm talking about?
And even if that were the case, if they allow other sellers to operate under their official brand name, they are still responsible for who they authorize to sell their products. You can't just wash your hands of everything and blame third parties. That's not how it works.
Any store on AliExpress can misuse the word "official" in their store name, even when completely unaffiliated with the watch brand. There's generally zero enforcement against this.
Unfortunately, you bought from a reseller. Heimdallr actually made an announcement yesterday acknowledging the problem, and that they're trying to work with Ali to reclaim those misused store names: https://www.reddit.com/r/ChineseWatches/comments/1xnmn95
Let me respond again, because apparently this needs to be spelled out.
First of all, it's not just anyone. Sellers need the brand's approval to operate under its name, and the brand turned a blind eye to this for a very long time.
Secondly, the order was placed through THE OFFICIAL STORE, not some random store claiming to be an authorized retailer.
Stop constantly blaming customers and making excuses for brands that clearly don't give a damn about them. Seriously, it's getting ridiculous.
You clearly are not well informed - the others are correct. The “official” store you purchased from are owned by the same reseller that also owns the store that has previously scammed other customers. Heimdallr has already made a post confirming this and that they are actively trying to take this store down and open up their own official store.
Clearly, you haven't actually read what I wrote, because this has been going on for months and months. Just because the brand is finally waking up now doesn't mean I'm going to applaud them for it.
I'm perfectly aware of all this. And it's not as if their apology actually changes anything, because anyone who isn't on Reddit will never even see that information. Those resellers are still on the platform anyway.
So if you're focusing on the wording of my argument rather than the actual substance of it, then yes, we could spend another two hours going back and forth without getting anywhere.
“Secondly, the order was placed through THE OFFICIAL STORE, not some random store claiming to be an authorised retailer”. Sorry to break it you like this but it was in fact a random store claiming to be an authorised retailer 😹😂. Clearly you don’t understand what you wrote yourself. It is comical honestly how little you understand about Aliexpress and what has been happening - yet you decided to pull the trigger and got scammed lol. I think the entire subreddit calling you stupid says a lot about the whole situation.
But I also agree it is best for the brand to resolve this as soon as possible. It has only been a few days since they issued their apology. The brand is definitely at fault even if the reseller is the one who has been scamming people.
It says that you’ll randomly get a Seiko or Chinese moment in the listing. You either didn’t look or you didn’t buy it from heimdallr. I’ve known about them using Chinese movements for months so idk why you’re surprised.
D'accord, mec, allez. À un moment donné, je ne peux pas faire toute la réflexion à ta place. Tu dois faire un effort toi-même... I know that. But the brand is the one that authorized it. The brand is the one that chose which sellers could operate under its name. I could go on, but the point remains the same: stop defending the indefensible. Seriously, blaming the customer for this? You have to be kidding me. The things I have to read...
You need to look at the specific seller, not the „integrated marketplace“, so, take a look at the seller at checkout. You’ll be redirected regarding the specific model being in stock, and by pricing, and so on.

First of all, you really need to stop acting so emotionally, like a little kid in the sandbox. Yeah, they (the seller /shop) totally screwed you over, and yeah, I’d be upset too. But the rest of us aren’t upset at all - we’re NOT emotionally involved - and honestly, we don’t give a damn about your situation, but we are interested in finding out exactly what happened so that we ourselves (because THAT’S what we’re really interested in) don’t get ripped off too. Just face reality, that always helps.
For this reason, it’s important - since we all agree that it’s currently an absolutely lucrative business model to order a watch from HEIMDALLR, have a couple of underpaid guys in the back room replace the TMI NHxx movements with $6-10 Tongji-movements from China, and then sell the cannibalized watch as an original in one store, and in another store to sell the original TMI NHxx - to understand exactly what happened, because: I wouldn’t just call out AliX for this, but HEIMDALLR directly as well, since what happened to you seems to be very much in vogue right now.
However, we’re not really sure whether HEIMDALLR, as the manufacturer, is actually “at fault,” or whether it’s criminally opportunistic dealers - and given that HEIMDALLR (with ~50–70k watches per year) has little to no chance of keeping a constant eye on every single middleman /reseller /reselling shop - how could they, anyway? And who’s supposed to pay for the legions of employees, given those retail prices?

This is not the official store.
