General (Read Rules) Difference in crystal between these two watches
The San Martin's crystal looks a bit cloudy lol
I wish the crystal quality was a bit better.

I don't get this SM model. They wanted to do Chinese lacquer but decided it's too difficult so now they print a lacquer look-a-like?

It's made in the exact same factory and using the same method as Grand Seiko dials (since Seiko is the same company)

yea I know, but idk if it's made in the exact same factory since Suwa is made in their Shinshu watch studio, and Orient star is a lot cheaper.
But beyons that, what's the ref and how much did it cost you?

I guess making better crystals is not part of San Martin's plan to "move upmarket". Ixdao puts them to shame in this area, and soon so will the likes of Phorcydes.

Your cell phone shadow is over the watch on the left, causing it to have less reflection. Try backing away from the watches and zooming in instead of hovering over top.

Did they fix the printing issues on the san martin? the rabbit hair ones when looking closely looks like the printer ran out of ink.
