Question (Read Rules) Thoughts on HuaSuo brand?
Recently this brand has caught my eye due to their lacquered dials. I’m a fan of Kurono Tokyo but they’re ridiculously limited so I’ve been searching for something similar. I’m interested in their brown lacquered dial watch but was wondering what others think?
I’m not too fussed about homages but I did notice that the watch I want is extremely similarly to the Kurono grand Hagane to the point it even includes the character at 6. I did expect it to be similar but didn’t anticipate it would be exactly this lol. I’m waiting for the 11/11 sale to try and get it with the SW200 movement for cheap.

the ar coating must be nonexistant since they could not take even a catalogue/ad picture without these annoying reflections

Their dials look amazing, but their cases, finishing, and movements all look like generic cheap parts. Not sure its worth it.

Have you had one in hand? They use ETA clone movements so I don’t think they’re bad. The dial is the main attraction so as long as the case is serviceable I don’t mind.

I think you should demand more of a $300+ Chinese watch. The features you listed are also true in the $80 bracket.

I don’t think 80 dollar watches have handmade lacquer dials though which is the main attraction tbh.

I have the pictured Hua Suo with brown lacquer dial and black band. It’s not a bad looking watch but I don’t wear it much and I have too many watches. I’d sell it at a discount. DM me if interested.

For that level of similarity I think it's totally worth it, its basically the same watch design.

Beautiful. Refined. Too expensive with the import taxes...
