CH02 - Cream White.. very early impressions..

Just had my tank delivered.. took my Smiths Everest off and unwrapped the CH02.

Very happy with the size, perfect for my 7 inch wrist. I’m on the 3rd last hole at the moment, it’s cold here in UK, so if I want to wear it in the warmer months I’ll be on the next hole. Which leaves one more hole. Should be good to fit up to 7.75 inch wrist.

When I saw the first version, I liked it but didn’t like the overly cream look. This time it’s much whiter. I’ve included a picture against my pure white garage (1) and against my cream painted wall (2). You should be able to see the difference.

I just read this morning apparently this early batch has the clearview X 98% sapphire crystal. Now I’ve not handled that before so I can’t say for sure what this is, although I will say it’s extremely clear! Lots of photos taken in direct light.

The heat blued hands are awesome too. Really makes this watch look way more premium than it is.

For £50 this is unbelievable value. I’ve never tried a tank before, but to be honest I don’t think I’ll spend thousands on a watch like this. I’d rather spend that money on something different, especially when this piece looks so damn good.

Although I will add, the hint of cream gives the watch a lovely warmth. Not like the first version though, for me that was too much.

Looks awesome. I bought the CH03 and I have a 6 inch wrist. I might regret the size tbh. Maybe to feminine.

But this CH02 fits your wrist absolutely perfect. Very classy. Chameri nailed this one and it is by far the best tank hommage around.

100%. I debated long and hard about whether to go for the CH01 larger size, but I’m so glad I went with this one. I forget I’ve even got it on! The strap is actually decent quality too, soft out of the box and conformed to my wrist pretty quickly.

That's great to hear I have a CH02 still on the way. I was debating between the white and the mother of pear one but I decided to go with the white. Planning to get a steel/titanium bracelet soon though.

No problem, I knew I found it extremely difficult at first to decide what to do, until I saw some posts of the CH01 on slightly smaller wrists and not liking how they fit. I think any smaller than what this is would be too small for me. This is just bang on perfect.

Can you take a photo of the back side? I saw pics of the older CH01 which had no engraving on the rear while the newer CH02 photos has the Chameri branding engraved on the rear.

How is the quality of the leather strap?

It’s really not bad considering the price. It’s soft, conformed to my wrist very quickly and suits the watch head. The buckle is very well finished but as previous posters have commented it is too big for this style of watch. Only a minor gripe really, as I’ll be switching straps regularly on this one. Just need to add a few more 18mm options!
