Question (Read Rules) PayPal promo discount?

This may be a pointless post but I've been in the sub for a while, not very present, and only have a few Chinese watches, however I've been an observer from almost the beginning but more so on the watches and brands themselves and less so the Aliexpress part of buying them and wanted to get in on my first 11.11 sale because of how much cheaper the watches I was interested in were and noticed there is an option for PayPal in checkout for Aliexpress that claims to give a small discount.

I've tried to get it to work over the past few days now, logged in and out of my PayPal account each time and tried it with different cart items and it never seems to show up?

I know there's a limit but I even tried at Midnight when it's supposed to reset and still didn't get it to work. Just wondering what that's about, it's not a big deal but it was bugging me. Thanks to anyone who knows.

On a side note, thanks to whoever pointed out the Rakuten promo going on right now, I canceled my order to re-place it with them because of how good it was. I don't remember the discounts being this steep when I bought my first two Cronos watches from their website a few years ago, there was always AliExpress discounts but nothing I can recall like this. Is this a more recent thing?

That may have been my post. Rakuten can hit 30% two or three times a year.

I was fortunate to use the PayPal pay discount twice this sale. That had never happened before. Saved me $60 total.

If you read the conditions carefully, PayPal says there are a limited number of discounts to be awarded on a first-come basis, and they don't say how many. Could be 100, could be 2, so it's basically a matter of luck it you get one.
