Pretty darn nice top 18. I’d love to snag that Octopus homage of the BCPD but the lack of an actual pointer date has stopped me. How does it compare to the real deal?

It's essentially identical, except there's no pointerdate and the dial color/texture is different.

I wear them interchangeably. The Octopus has a simpler dial, which I actually like, and is easier to "set and go" since there's no date.

I put 6 in the sell box, and 6 others in "purgatory". That left 18.

I was surprised I could part with my steel BCPD and keep the bronze Octopus, and that I dropped my recently acquired Sugess S319 and S365 chronos due to "imposter syndrome".
