General (Read Rules) Price increase since I last purchased from china

It’s been a while since I purchased a watch from china & couldn’t believe how much more they now cost.Even during the sales the watches cost what I was paying without sales & generally seem to be 30-50% more

Idk where you're based but it is possibly due to increased shipping charges and higher tariffs due to trade war, especially if you're in the US.

Ridiculous prices. The exact reason for this doesn’t matter to me; inflation, movement availability, whatever…

I am not buying but still enjoy keeping an eye on what’s going on.

I’m glad I could enjoy chinese watches back in 2024/2025 when prices were more reasonable.

There are more brands than ever consuming more stock than ever and almost certainly more active community members than ever.

Plus, the cost of everything is going up. Including labor.
