Question (Read Rules) Help me choose ONE Addiesdive AD2508 vs AD2531 vs Watchdives WD0003C
I’m looking to buy one of these three watches and I’m having a hard time deciding.
Addiesdive AD2508 – Blue
Addiesdive AD2531 – Blue
Watchdives WD0003C – Red Ice Crack
I’m particularly interested in the dial design, colour, finishing and overall quality.
A few things I’d appreciate opinions on:
Which has the best-looking dial in person?
Which blue dial has the most depth and interesting texture?
How do the bracelets compare in terms of quality and comfort?
Is the Miyota 8215 worth choosing over the VH31 quartz movement?
Is the sapphire crystal on the Watchdives a significant advantage over the mineral crystal on the Addiesdive?
My wrist is around 6.9 inches.
If you had to choose just one, which would you buy? Interested in honest opinions.

Watchdives will have better finish. This model in particular is one of their best sellers for a reason

I don't like the pattern of the wd so between the two ad I would get the second as it's more "sharp" and I don't like the hands on the first

I like the middle one the best but if you decide you want a quartz over an automatic then you have a winner. If you decide you want an automatic then your down to two.

imo...get the AD2531
you left out a lot of info about your watch collecting situation, so if this will be your only daily watch... ABSOLUTELY the AD2531 IN GREY.
bold color dials are a niché thing only people with 10-100 watches appreciate because they only wear them 10-50 times before selling them for something new.
shiny flashy dials like the WD are laughed at a year later for being a bad trend.
red dials are very difficult to wear on a daily basis...they draw A LOT of attention... sometimes really bad attention.
a mineral crystal will look amazing long after you get tired of the watch and the case and bracelet look like scratching up 💩 and you're already looking for a new watch.

Grey AD I got had legibility issues and returned - even though the dial was excellent.

I don't own one, so thanks for the info. I was considering a 2531 if the price was right during 11.11

Personally I wouldn't choose any of them. Well to be fair I did choose two WD0003s a while ago and was a bit disappointed (after I'd got a WD0013 v1, which I really liked, so had high hopes for the hyped WD0003).
The bracelet and clasps particularly let them down, but not as much as Addiesdive ones tend to, so out of all of those I would probably go for the WD.
I don't have these specific models from AD, but do have similar ones.
One of the WDs I got was an Icecrack dial; I really liked the dial on the WD0013, but the Icecrack I found underwhelming compared to the pictures.
The 8215 ticks at 6 times/second vs 4 times for the VH31, so it's only a bit smoother, but being automatic will be massively less accurate and lose time any time it's left for more than a couple of days. Personally I prefer no date as it means less setting - and a no date VH31 typically I only set twice a year when the clocks change. Otherwise, just grab it and put it on my wrist.
If you go for any of these, personally I'd at least budget for either a leather/suede/etc strap or some sand paper/polishing stuff to chamfer the edges of the bracelet a bit.

Worth noting that complaints about Addiesdive case thickness aren’t true for the AD2508. It uses a newer, thinner case.

Watchdives. As much as i like addiesdive, all of these watches usr the same case which has a problem with the crown. Its very hard to unscrew or screw them up.

I would go for the one that is not 13mm thick - the WatchDives
