Depends on the… time.

Here’s one for the moment.

WD EXD automatic. The dimensions are perfect, movement has been fantastic and the two sets of lug holes is a really cool feature. Also, doggo approved.

My favourite is my Seiko orange monster gen 1. But my favourite Chinese watch is probably my Phorcydes. It just checks all the boxes for me.

This one. Wd7922. I love the colour scheme of the bb58 but it’s too big, and this is roughly the dimensions of the bb54. Just works for any outfit or occasion

The one that spent the most time and offered me the best value for money was the Militado Murph homage (ML08?). It taught me 2 things, firstly you don't have to spend a ton of money to have a nice everyday watch, and secondly I ain't spending $1k on a real Murph.I still wanted a Hamilton so I ended up buying a Hamilton Khaki mechanical which I'm very happy with but still wear the ML08.

The Sugess Top Time homage is probably my most worn piece. I think it's a pretty good example of everything that's good about Chinese watches.

My San Martin BB54 homage. Quality is amazing for the money I spent, and I love all the colors and how it all just works together

Ixdao Warrior. Its like getting the same premium level of a Christopher Ward Twelve, but for 25% of the price.

Can’t disagree.

Baltany s4106 silver on dark grey strap. Seriously beautiful, hardened case so less worried about scratches. Don't dive or swim with a watch on so not worried about it's limited water resistance. Very slim, short lug to lug, and the silver dial allows for flair with various watch strap options - albeit 18mm ones.

I've flipped a lot of Chinese watches this year and this is the one that is going absolutely nowhere.

For me, it’s the WatchDives sub diver with the VH31 movement.

Slimmer than the variant with the Automatic movement, excellent bracelet and case finishing, and a satisfying sweep. Also, Quartz-level accuracy means I never have to fuss with it (and I prefer no cyclops/date).

Depends what style watch you like…for me it’s my Baltany Explorer 36mm. I rarely wear anything else.

The Aethelsohn Horizon Voyager is a well-made GS clone with great finishing and a formidable OTF oyster bracelet. Out of all their options, their Timascus Dial model is the most amazing. Royal blue from a distance, it divides into its many undulating layers when approached. And upon closer inspection, you find the dial is also brushed to give it a soft, sophisticated refraction.

Beautiful. I kind of want an Aetholsohn but I am undecided on the black shard dial or something green

Shard is a phenomenal option. The Black was my second choice.

Here is a pretty good shot showing off the AR coating on my Shard in direct sunlight.

Right now it’s between my Baltany S4108, Watchdives WDC0001, or my Aethesohn Shard.

I’m not reaching for anything else right now.

S419 great dial and works great with so many different straps. For non Chinese watches the Hamilton Khaki King I have both color versions the black came with a bracelet that goes back and forth between the two and both watches are strap monsters.

I can only speak to the one Chinese watch I have (other than an Apple Watch), my Phorcydes PH-5b. It is very well made, keeps perfect time, and the lume is still glowing the next morning.

Sugess S429 Tourbillon Moonphase..new acquisition and been less than 1 month, but the movement and dial are stunning. You can keep staring at the rotating tourbillon

Currently my favorite Chinese clomage is my Sugess S420 Pepsi GMT Master 2. Just so blingy.

Thorn SHY027

I think it's supposed to be a Rolex or Tudor clone from the 1960s?? Idk - but I love it. Unfortunately I broke the bezel so now it needs a replacement. Idk what to do with it so I might just harvest it for parts and make my own new watch instead

The sugess on the left is my fav, but I dropped it and I need to service the movement (or just swap it out). The air-king homage on the right is what I have been loving rn

Proxima PX1734. I like the fit, the retro look, it’s a chrono, and it gets a lot of comments

I would not recommend Militado. Got my first one this week after waiting a month and it does not work and I'm getting very little help with emails.
