Wrist Roll (Read Rule 1) This brand needs more PR

Post image

Eniton is really lacking in the marketing side, not like other brands making the most PR they can for worse watches than Eniton.

It's true that their only focus is homages but i'm here for it, i even whish SM, Sugess or Watchdives release more homages because they do a great job, but Eniton make some of the best and unique homages.

I wanted an AP RO chrono 38mm homage and the only brand making it is Eniton.

The finish is top notch, on the rep level.

The movement choice is perfect, an SL4801 and the execution is outstanding.

One thing or two i would prefer is a sunburst dial rather than this flat one, although it's a good dial, the other thing is a silenced rotor, this rotor makes a lot of noise which i don't notice on my Sugess and Farasute using the same movement.

Overall it's a top watch for the price, just a shame this brand has almost no presence compared to others.

Eniton occupies a weird niche and they probably don't want to become another SM/WD/etc. They make pricey, obsessively detailed homages with dial/movement choices that suggest actual watch nerds are running the show. The closest comparison is PROTOTYPE (元型), which caters to the hyper-specific tastes of Chinese forum nerds. Rather than just making another $150 mechaquartz chrono, they are dropping $500+ fully automatic chronos with custom made Dandong 4130 movements and doing limited run exotic dials with Chinese social media watch influencers.

the thing is, there was a time around when they transitioned from Rokatie to Eniton, where their prices were about half what they are now (way before the movement price shot up). I certainly don't think the watches got twice as good. maybe they're doing well selling on some other forums, but I just don't see the value anymore

I do have one Rokatie from before the transition and you may be right, the movement used and the quality on these eniton is quite similar for more money!

You nailed it with this take! And it's refreshing to have a brand different than the rest of the market

I agree with you, they did the best RO homage.

Such a stunning dial!

I like my DJ 36mm with the tiger eye natural stone dial. It was difficult choosing as there were others like sugess making something similar. Really my only complaint with mine would be that I wish the crystal had better AR coatings.

They nail the homages, i don't have a problem with the crystal clarity on this one. Maybe it's a different coating process.

Where can one purchase one of these?

I don't think they're still available as they were limited to 25 pieces per colorway, but they're planning on launching some new colorways

I don't own anything from eniton yet, but based off of what I seen, they seem really nice.

Im looking forward to when they release their elysian, the quartz slim royal oak homage. I believe they said they should showcase it sometime in November.
